In an effort to enhance the recovery of outstanding tax debts, particularly those related to land and mineral resources, the General Department of Taxation has issued strict directives in Official Dispatch No. 2403/TCT-QLN dated June 6, 2024.
The main focus of this dispatch is to instruct provincial and city tax departments to thoroughly review all tax debts associated with land and mineral resources. The report should clearly outline the reasons for the prolonged debt situation and propose specific solutions for each case.

Additionally, the General Department of Taxation has mandated the continued enforcement of travel bans on individuals and legal representatives of businesses under administrative enforcement for tax management.
The dispatch also highlights the need for special attention to taxpayers who:
Are no longer operating at their registered addresses.
Operate in the e-commerce sector.
For these cases, tax authorities are required to implement more effective measures to monitor and expedite the recovery of tax debts.
The tightening of tax debt recovery measures is considered essential to ensure state budget revenue and promote transparency in business operations.
